Dear Community:
Thank you for your support in electing me to the Palos Verdes Library Board of Trustees. I’m excited about my new role in the community and want to assure you that I will faithfully execute my responsibilities as trustee.
I enjoyed meeting so many of you as I walked neighborhoods and attended candidate forums. I now have a much better idea of what the community expects from its libraries and I intend to exceed these expectations.
I will begin by building stronger partnerships with residents, businesses, schools, civic organizations and local government to move forward on the three-year strategic plan. I will also seek out additional revenue streams to underwrite the innovative programs and services our community deserves.
Listening to your ideas and concerns will continue to be the way I proceed. My town-hall meetings will be ongoing and I hope to see you there.
Again, I appreciate all your encouragement, endorsements, donations and votes of confidence. I look forward to serving you for the next four years.
